If you want to push yourself and take a tour of the newest trails we have to offer, then the 20K is for you! This course will hit the high point and newest trail at the Flying V called Lasso where you will be rewarded with some great views of the valley. This challenging course will also reward you with over 2,000 feet of climbing!

Even Years: The 20k course also begins by following Founder north from the start then runners will descend the wiggle (you will know what I mean when you see it!) to Last Draw. Last Draw takes you to HOD (it stands for Hole of Despair…). After a short climb turn right onto Salt Creek and begin the loop around Salt Creekm Cambria, and Jumbo. Then it’s back to HOD and the climb up to Hog Penn and then the aid station at about mile 5.3.
From the aid station turn left and go up (and yes, climbing again!) Breakneck to the junciton with Lasso. Here you will begin a lolly pop out and back on Lasso. Climb up the switchbacks and you will encounter tghe stone steps. Go up the steps and make the loop to the right and then back down the steps and the switchbacks. Turn left at the juntion with Doggie and enjoy some downhill! Yeah!
At the bottom of Doggie, you will cross a meadow and then take a right on Noose and follow the two-track up again. But lookout for a single track coming up on your left. Take this detour and it cuts across and puts you back on Noose and then up the junction with Never Sweats at about mile 8.6.
Leaving this junction, climb north up Never Sweats and back to the Aid Station at about mile 9.8. Leave the Aid Station to the left and follow the two-track Breakneck down to the Hub at about mile 10. From here travel across the meadow and follow the flagging to the left and continue down Breackneck. Look for a turn to the left onto Insulator and then another turn to the left onto the ME trail. This is a fun trail that winds up and down through the trees and leads back to Never Sweat at about mile 10.8. From there turn right and follow the lower portion of Never Sweat back to the finish!
Odd years: run the course counterclockwise!
Note: Due to the way Strava creates routes, the numbers below are a little skewed. The total mileage for the 20K is closer to about 12.3 and the amont of elevation is closer to about 2,000 ft.
